How to Flash or Install S5830XXKPT Firmware Upgrade Samsung Galaxy Ace to Android 2 3 6 Gingerbread

Heres the procedure on how to manually upgrade the Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread using the stock ROM S5830XXKPT. This is a Russian official firmware update for Galaxy Ace that has been recently released this March 2012. Some changes is the lock screen features, much more faster than the previous buildS5830XXKPP and S5830XWKT7. Some European languages are included on this packaged, so anyone who prepares an English (UK and US) and European languages can use this ROM. The default language is set in Russian, but you can change it to your desired local language after installation.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Odin flashing S5830XXKPT Android 2.3.6 stock firmware

- Make sure you are running Windows on your PC with USB driver installed or have Kies installed.
A USB cable wire of your device, a good working USB serial port, sometimes the connection issues occurs because of a bad USB port of your PC and the USB cable.
- Make a back up copy of all important files stored on your phone, the file is a none wipe but it is better to have an extra precautions if something went wrong.
- Disable any antivirus and Kies installed, this program might also interrupt Odin while in flashing process.

1. After youve done downloaded theS5830XXKPT stock ROM, just simply extract it using winrar, winzip, 7zip or any rar file extractor program you have. Then you in the folder you can see the file

we dont need this SS_DL.dll on this flashing, but dont delete it.
2. Extract and run also the Odin v4.38 on your desktop.
3. On ODIN clickt the OPS button and load the Cooper_v1.0.ops file on it.
4. Hit the One packaged in the checkboxes options (the Auto reboot and protect OPS remain checked,
then at the lower part of Odin click on the One Packaged button then select and load the

5. Set the Samsung Galaxy Ace inDownload Mode:
Turn the OFF the phone or remove the battery for a couple of seconds then put it back again. By pressing Volume Down+Power+ Middle buttonssimultaneously the phone will then reboot into download mode.

6. If the device is already in download mode, connect the phone to PC, on ODIN window a COM Port mapping turn to color yellow and indicates that the device is already added - means connected.
7. Once the connection set up is okay, begin the flashing by hitting the Startbutton.

It only takes around 4 to 5 minutes to complete, a progress bar on the left side of ODIN will show you the downloading progress. A word "PASS" will display once it finishes.
Its time to unplug the phone from PC, then do a factory data reset to clean all data caches and have a fresh firmware installed, you can do this by Recovery Mode button - Home + Power Button, then toggle on using the volume button and select Wipe Data/ Factory Reset or by typing this code *2767*3855#.
To check the newly installed firmware update - by typing *#1234#.
Change the default Russian language to your Region, go to settings and then locate the locale and text icon, then find your native language. You may then also often check out the Samsung Galaxy Ace stock ROM list for future firmware updates.

Installing the driver

1. Install driver first just keep on hitting next. (Open/Execute/Run SamsungDrivePack)
2. After installing the driver Press and Hold Volume Down + Home Key + Power Button, a selection will appear if you would like to go in Download Mode, Press Volume Up to proceed in Download Mode.
3. Connect your phone in the PC via USB Cable
4. Wait for it to finish installing the driver.
"Note: Sometimes it is better to reboot your PC. After installing the driver."

BEFORE PROCEEDING IN FLASHING MAKE SURE THAT THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED OR 50% CHARGED.

Flashing your Phone

1. Open Odin 3.07

2. Load the file (PDA, Phone, CSC). Click on PDA then look for the firmware that you had extracted. Same with Phone and CSC. Bootloader is optional.

*** For Rebootloop you can only check PDA, PHONE and CSC. (This is only base on my experience, because flashing PIT is dangerous too. You might brick your phone.)

3. Do not check repartition.

4. When you are ready to flash your phone, Press and Hold Volume Down + Home Key + Power Button, a selection will appear if you would like to go in Download Mode, Press Volume Up to proceed in Download Mode.

5. Connect your phone in the PC via USB Cable, wait for a value in the ID:COM to appear. It will turn yellow with number example: COM32, if it nothing appear close Odin an open it again and load the file again.

6. Press START to proceed flashing your phone. Wait until it is done, the phone will reboot after flashing.

China Tablet Galaxy Tab S5 KT072G stock rom firmware to unbrick your tablet

Hi,

This firmware is for China Tablet. The name of the this tablet is Samsung Galaxy Tab S5.

If you can still read the info in MTK Droids Tool, the tablet Model is KT072G.

The firmware is not rooted. If you want to root this phone you can use Kingroot or vRoot for PC.

The firmware is Clockworkmod ready. You can also use the factory/stock recovery. Just use the factory_nomodify_recovery.img

You can fix the following issue in your phone:
1. Bootloop
2. Damaged System UI
3. TP Upgrade only
4. Dead phone but it is detected in computer

Installing Driver with AutoInstaller

First try the Alternative Driver, which is the AutoInstaller. Just open the install.exe then it will automatically install the driver. To fully check if the driver is correctly installed in your computer.

Follow these steps:

Turn off your phone (always powered off is a must)
Press and hold volume up or down, or you can simple press the two button.
Insert your USB cable without releasing the VOLUME button(s).
In your computer, it must detect your phone and it will install the MTK Preloader or Mediatek USB VCOM driver.
Repeat 1 to 4 if it does not detect your phone.
If MTK Preloader/Mediatek USB VCOM Driver is installed you are good to go in flashing your phone ^_^

Installing Manually using VCOM Driver

When installing it manually your phone must be turned off, then connect it to your computer/laptop while pressing VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN. This will detect and look for the driver.

1. This is the first time that you will connect your phone and it will search for the correct driver.

2. Check include this location ... ... and click on browse. Look for USB VCOM Driver and Click on 2K_XP_COM folder if you are using Windows XP or Win7 for Windows 7 and then press OK when you are done picking the right folder for the driver.

3. If the driver is successfully installed MediaTek DA USB VCOM will appear in the New Hardware Wizard.

Flashing

1. Launch FlashTool (flash_tool.exe)

2. In Flashtool, Click on Scatter-Loading, and load your scatter file. (see example below)

3. After you load the file, UNCHECK PRELOADER only, press Press Download to Flash your Phone.

4. After you press Download Follow these steps

Turn off your phone (always powered off is a must)
Press and HOLD volume UP or Down or you can simply press it simultaneously
Insert your USB cable without releasing the VOLUME button(s).
Keep on repeating until Flashtool detected your phone.

5. If successfully detected just wait until the progress bar reaches 100%. If your phone did not automatically turn on after flashing, remove battery and USB cable. And put back your battery then turn on your device.

"Hard reset your phone after flashing"

Some workarounds:

If you encounter PMT_Changed error here is what you do:

In Latest version of Flashtool

PMT_CHANGED error occur when firmware is not compatible with your phone. Sometimes your phone has a different board version. You should check it too, if your firmware is compatible with your phone.

If you encounter Privacy Protection Password:

Open flash_tool.exe
Load the scatter file
Goto Format Tab
Click on Format except bootloader
Press Play/Start Icon
Then remove battery
Insert the battery again
Insert the USB cable (you should hear a beep on your computer, and it should proceed in formatting.)
After done formatting proceed in Flashing.
Goto Download tab (I assume that you loaded the scatter file already)
Uncheck PRELOADER (this is very important)
Press Download
Then remove battery
Insert Battery again
Insert the USB cable (you should hear a beep on your computer, and it should proceed in flashing or downloading the firmware in your phone.)
Power ON the phone after flashing.
Restore your IMEI.

For Invalid IMEI:Your Phone/Tablet must be rooted first
Restore yong IMEI in MTKDroidTools version 2.5.3. You will have this error when you format your phone in Flashtool as I had experienced. To restore download MTKDroidTools version 2.5.3 After you extract the file. Open the green robot, you must enable the usb debugging in your phone. It is usually located in Settings>Devoloper Mode then look for usb debugging. After enabling it. Connect your phone in your computer then in MTKDroidTool click on ROOT. Wait for it to finish, then Click in IMEI/NVRAM, input 15 number in each box. Then click REPLACE. Then click Reboot or you can manually turn off your phone. Then turn your phone on again. You can see that you have fully restored your IMEI.

~~FOR DAMAGED BASEBAND or UNKNOWN BASEBAND (Your phone must be rooted first)~~

~~1. Make sure you have MTKDROIDSTOOL version 2.4.8 or version 2.5.3 (you can search it in google)~~
~~2. In MTKDroidstool (I assume you launch the tool) -- Click in Root.~~
~~3. In your device -- After you press Root, you need to authorize it. A pop up message will appear. Click Allow/Authorize depends on your root application.~~
~~4. In MTKDroidsTool -- Click in IMEI/NVRAM, then click in RESTORE.~~
~~5. Then look for the folder where you extracted the NVRAM files.~~
~~6. Check if the Baseband is fixed. And if the IMEI is fully restored.~~
~~7. If Baseband is still Unknown and IMEI is invalid. Then you need to hard reset first your phone.~~
~~8. After hard reset your baseband should be fixed already. (base on my experience)~~
~~9. If your baseband is fixed sometimes the IMEI is still invalid. So you need to restore the IMEI.~~
~~10. To restore IMEI follow Step 1-4, but you should not restore. You should fill the IMEI then click REPLACE. Then reboot your phone. VOILA! I hope the phone is fully working :)~~

Procedures on Installing the I9305XXUFNI3 4.4.4 on Galaxy S3 LTE GT-I9305

1. Extract or unzip the downloaded I9305XXUFNI3 firmware or stock ROM so that you’ll get the Odin flashable tar.
2. Run Odin Downloader v3.09 flasher program.
3. Click on the AP button then browse to the folder where you extracted the stock ROM.

4. Do Not check the Re-Partition check box. Mark check these check boxes Auto Reboot and F-Reset Time.

Root your Samsung Galaxy A3 A300FU

I have already tried and tested this firmware. And I would like to share this file to you. This file is available on chainfires official link. So I am not the original owner of this file, I give credits to the chainfire team.

You can root your Samsung Galaxy A3 (A300FU). I repeat this is for A300FU variant of Samsung Galaxy A3. Do not use this in other A3 variant. I am not responsible damaging your phone. I have tested this file in version 5.0.2. I havent tested it yet on version 4.4.4, I am not recommending to use it on Kitkat version (4.4.4).

So here is the files that you needed to download
Root File with Odin --> SM-A300FU_CFautoroot_5.02.zip
Samsung Driver --> Download Here
"Extract to your desired folder"

After extracting, install the Samsung Driver first. Just keep on hitting next.

Flashing the root file

Open/Execute/Run Odin.exe
Click on AP
Locate the root file that you downloaded
Turn off your phone (follow instruction below)

Press Volume DOWN + Home Button + Power Button
Press Volume UP to proceed in Download Mode
Let the driver install first

In Odin, in ID:COM area, wait for a number to appear for example COM32 with yellow background.

Press START to proceed flashing your phone.
Your phone will reboot into recovery mode after flashing just wait for it to reboot into normal state. And your phone is now rooted.

Firmware Flashing Method:

* Put Mobile in Download Mode By Holding Vol dwn + Home + Pwr

* Uncheck Auto Boot in Odin (Important This Step )

* After Flash complete remain with Blu line, but not import after PASS only Important.

* Just take out battery, wait 30 sec.s and
put back the battery power on phone,
itself goes in Recovery mode, or manually put recovery mode just
select Wipe/Factory reset and reboot, all working fine.
