Have you ever used your smartphone to control TV, DVD, AC or Electric Fan? Or do you know you can do it? To be honest, its not a surprise anymore. Yes, you can control almost any appliances (which are controlled by infrared) through your smartphone.
Necessary Tools
- An Android Phone with Sensor (Infrared Transmitter)
- An App (Im recommending ZaZaRemote)
If you search for remote control app on Google Play, you will get many. But all of them are not useful. Ive used ZaZaRemote and it performs better.

How to Use?
After downloading the app, it will be installed on your mobile automatically. Now youve to run the app.
- Look at the top left corner of the app. There will be a button. Hit on it.
- Here you will see the list of devices which are already added. And you will get Add Remote option. Hit on Add Remote button.
- In the next screen, youve to choose Appliance Type - TV, AC, DVD etc. Choose your device type here - i.e. TV.
- Now you will get the list of TV brands. Choose one - i.e. Samsung, TCL or Sony.
- Suppose youve selected Samsung TV. Make sure your TV is plugged in. Now hit on the Power button that appears on your phone screen. If it responds, then hit on the Has response button. (Also check network signals)
- My TV Brand is TCL. Look at the remote for TCL.
- You can also change the skin color. Hit on the top right icon of the app to get this option. Then change your skin color to white or black.
Limitations
This app works fine with all recent devices. Ive personally tested this app for TV, AC and Projector. But it doesnt work with old appliances which were made 10/ 12 years ago.
But this app has a huge database. It supports most of the brands. At least have a look at the device list. Then you will realize.

How to install and use Veil Catapult in backtrack
Today we are gonna talk about Veil-Catapult.Veil-Catapult is payload delivery for when metasploit’s psexec getting caught by AV.It utilizes Veil-Evasion to generate AV-evading binaries, impacket to upload/host the binaries, and the passing-the-hash toolkit to trigger execution.It officially supported on kali linux only.I`m going to show you how to install Veil-Catapult in backtrack?
First if you have not already installed veil-evasion framework then first install it as mentioned here.After installing Veil-evasion follow steps.
root@bt:~wget https://github.com/Veil-Framework/Veil-Catapult/archive/master.zip
root@bt:~unzip master.zip
root@bt:~cd Veil-Catapult-master/
root@bt:~sh setup.sh
Now veil-catapult require impacket library & passing the hash toolkit.So setup script try to install PTH suite but we got error.So we have to manually do it.

Install passing the hash.

If you are using other OS then you have to manually build it as mentioned here .
It installed into the /opt/pth/bin folder , we have to move it into /usr/bin.
root@bt:~# ln -s /opt/pth/bin/wmis /usr/bin/pth-wmis
root@bt:~# ln -s /opt/pth/bin/winexe /usr/bin/pth-winexe
root@bt:~# ln -s /opt/pth/bin/wmic /usr/bin/pth-wmic
Installing impacket library
root@bt:~# wget http://corelabs.coresecurity.com/index.php?module=Wiki&action=attachment&type=tool&page=Impacket&file=impacket-0.9.11.tar.gz
root@bt:~# tar -xvzf impacket-0.9.11.tar.gz
root@bt:~# cd impacket
root@bt:~# python setup.py build
I know you have question that we can install it , but when we tried to install , it installed succesfully ;but some of modules are missing.So we first gonna build it then copy it. Now copy folder impacket from build/lib.linux-i686-2.6/ and paste it into /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6
Now everything is ready ,we can run it. Before that open /etc/veil/settings.py and checkout all path.
root@bt:~/Veil-Catapult-master# python Veil-Catapult.py
Now select number according to your choice & fill out necessary option.
Powershell injector
Barebones python injector
Sethc backdoor
Reboot, hit Shift key 5 times, SYSTEM shell will pop up. Also there is script for it in metasploit.Check it out this awesome blog for more details.
EXE delivery upload
Cleanup resource script is generated , you can use it after your work completed for kill process & remove exe.
You can also host exe using temporary SMB server.This will load the payload executable into memory without touching disk, allowing otherwise disk-detectable executable to bypass detection
Alternatives of Veil-Catapult are smbexec and keimpx.

As a Search Engine, Bing is next to Google. And its now concerned to increase the market share. Search engine Bing are now offering special features to the users. In this post, Im gonna talk about different uses of Bing.
Bing can be used for multiple purposes. But I would like to concentrate on 4 amazing features of Bing. You can use Bing as -

- Calculator - Perform basic and some scientific calculations.

Bing as Calculator
- Go to Bing
- Type - Calculator and hit Enter
- You will get it right there
Or simply type 45 - 9 and hit Enter. The result will be shown on Bing Calculator.
Bing as Unit Converter
- Go to Bing
- Type - Unit converter or Convert unit and press Enter
- Choose your desired unit from the drop down box.
- Select the format that you need to convert from the left, and the format in which you want your result from the right.
- Enter the value and get the result.
Or you can simply type, 35 Celsius in Fahrenheit and Bing will show automatically show the result in its Unit Converter.
Bing as Clock
You may have watch, smart phone or anything which is enough to see the time. What, if you need to see the time of another country? With Bing, you can see the date and time of any city/ country of the world within a second!
- Go to Bing
- Type anything as - Dhaka Time/ Singapore Time/ Sydney Time/ London Time
- Immediately, you will get the Current Time of that city/ country with date
Bing as Dictionary
- Go to Bing
- Type anything as - Define Equilibrium/ GDP/ Diffusion
- The meaning of the word will be right there with synonyms, explanation and pronunciation!
MSN Weather Forecast on Bing Search Result
Bing also shows weather forecast data from MSN. Suppose, you need to know the weather forecast of a city. Simply type as -
Dhaka Weather or London Weather or any city. The result will be shown as follow -

Adobe Photoshop offers some extraordinary photo editing tools that make it a great program to the users. Hue/ Saturation is one of them. With this tool you can modify the color of your photos and images. Lets explore this tool . . .
Necessary Tools
- Adobe Photoshop (I prefer CS5 or 6)
- Some photos or images (I prefer flowers)
Using Hue/ Saturation
- Open Photoshop.
- Go to the File Menu > Open an image you need to modify.
- Now go to the Image Menu > Adjustment > Hue/ Saturation (Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+U)
- You will get three options: Hue to modify the color, Saturation to adjust the amount of color > Lightness to adjust the lighting.
- Move the slider of Hue (left to right or right to left) and observe the changes.
- You can also try other options here (at your own responsibility).
- Finally, press OK and Save your image. Thats it!

Open it using photoshop > Image > Adjustment > Hue/ Saturation > Change the value of Hue from 0 to -55. And you will get the following view:

Modify the Color of a Part . . .
If you dont need to modify the color of whole picture then you can select the part you wanna modify. Simply use the Marquee tool by press M.

Step 1. Firstly you have to download whatsapp messenger in your Android device and install and launch it.
Step 2. If you are old whatsapp user then you have to delete your whatsapp account and download and install whatsapp again.
Step 3. Next step is enter your name and verify your mobile number. But you do not enter your mobile number now.
Step 4. Then we have to verify your mobile number with another way. Download Text+ App in your mobile to verify your mobile number.
Step 5. After launching text + App you have to open the App and go to settings and select contacts.
Step 6. You will get a number for your personal use in the app. Copy that number or write it .
Step 7. Now open your whatsapp messenger and paste the number that you get from the text + App.
Step 8. Click on continue button now you will get a verification code in Text+ app.
Step 9. Get this code and verify your account. Now your whatsapp account is ready without any number.
