Google Talk is Gonna be Shut Down!!
Few days ago, I just signed in to Google Talk and got the following message -
Google Talk app for Windows is no longer supported. It is being replaced by the new Hangouts Chrome app. Install the Hangouts app from http://goo.gl/yglfk6.
Its my post number 400! Im really sorry to publish a bad news in this post. But I promise, in post number 500, I will try to write something exceptional. Ive already got the idea for that post!
I was really surprised and shocked after getting this message. To chat with my friends and blog visitors, most of the time Google Talk is my first choice. I dont like chatting in Gmail because its heavy and slower.

Google is trying to promote its Hangout app for Android, Mac and Windows operating system. They are also trying to move the Internet world to Google Chrome. Thats why Windows users cant use Hangout without Chrome. Hangout is installed as a Chrome extension which is really bothering.
But I think Google Talk was a really smart tool to communicate with people. Google could develop the app instead of shutting it down. And some of the Google Talk features are not available in Hangout. In slower connection, you may need to fight to connect to the Hangout. Its really frustrating.
Last year Google announced that - Google Talk app for Windows is being retired. And from this month, Google Talk users are getting the following message from gmail.com:
Now Google is offering the Hangout app. Its a cross-platform application. You can get this tool from:
- Google Play for Android Devices
- App Store for Mac OS
- Chrome Web Store for Windows
Hangout looks smart but I think some changes are necessary. Think about file sharing. Google Talk users can share files but this feature is not available on Hangout. Of course you can share images through Hangout. And it also allows you to draw something in chat window.
You can still use Google Talk. But time is very short - maybe two months at best. And then Google Talk will be turned off forever! :(

Payoneer Support Center is Really Helpful
Every time when I need any help regarding my Payoneer account, I take the help of support center. And its really helpful. When I request something, the support team try their best to do this. Today I would like to share my experience with you. After reading this post, you will understand how supportive the Payoneer team is.
Available Support Options
Case 1: $65 has been Stolen from My Card (Recovered)!
For the first time, I met Payoneer Support Center when I lost $60 from my prepaid master card. In that time, Ive little experience. I was not conscious about security measures. Actually it was my mistake.
I just wrote a review on Payoneer Master Card and made the funniest mistake of my life. As specimen, I scanned my card and used it in my post. It was clearly showing my card number and expiry date! And the culprit (Sorry to mention that, maybe he is my blog reader) was so clever. Probably he understood that it is the picture of an active card. Though it was empty that time.
Ive no idea that in case of online transaction, PIN is not required. Only card number and expiry date is enough to pay the bills. When my card was loaded, Ive lost $60 (30 + 30). In that time, I didnt understand what is this! Later Ive lost $5 more. Then Ive realized the fact. Someone has clarified me the issue and advised to contact Payoneer.
Recovering the money!
As advised, Ive contacted the Payoneer Support Team through Live Chat. Ive clarified the fact to them and requested to block the card immediately. They suggest me to file a case reporting the issue through proper form. They also informed that I cant apply for an amount which is less than $20. So I just applied for $60. And within few weeks, they returned me the money in my card!
I was just surprised! How did they manage it?!
Case 2: Two Replacement Cards (One Blocked)
After blocking the first one, I applied for a replacement card. Dont know why it was taking more than 4 weeks. I thought, something was wrong thats why the card may not reach my post office. Then I applied for another card.
Just two days after applying for the second replacement card, the first one reached my post office. And by this time, it was blocked by Payoneer support team for issuing me the second one! What should I do now?
Again I took help from support team. Ive told them details. Then they unblocked the first replacement card and blocked the second one.
And I just had to pay the replacement fee for one card - $12.95.
Case 3: Money Sent to the Wrong Person (Recovered)!!!
Believe it or not, only few days ago, 360 Advertisement, paid me $214 via Payoneer. Unfortunately I didnt get the money. Know why? Because the sender (+Anzaq ali) sent the money to the wrong person. In the list, he just selected the wrong account. And $214 went to the wrong person who was not supposed to get a single dollar!
When I informed Anzaq Ali that I havent got the money yet, then he checked and found that the money has been sent to the wrong person. Immediately he contacted the Payoneer Support Team. Anzaq Ali also requested that person to send the money back but he denied.
I must say, Anzaq is lucky enough. The person who got the money by mistake, he made another mistake. He didnt withdraw the money thinking that its now in my account - nobody can take it back.
But Payoneer has returned the money to Anzaq within 2/3 days!

Windows 9 Preview is on the Way!!
Windows 9 Preview is on the Way!!
Many Windows OS users havent tried Windows 8 yet. Even some of them are using Windows XP and thinking to swich to the Windows 7. And Microsoft is still passing a hard time to encourage users to use Windows 8. In this situation, Windows 9 (Threshold) Preview is gonna be released at the end of Septemeber, maybe 30th September. And to be honest, Im just waiting for it.
Because you know, I try all the preview versions of new Windows. Because Ive to inform my visitors about new way of using the Windows. And as soon as Im getting Windows 9 Preview, I will start exploring it.
So, Whats New?
Nobody can give you any straight answer. Because the changes will only be visible after the release. But information gets leaked easily. Ive searched information from different sites. So far, Ive got the following changes to be experienced in the next version of Windows -
- Windows Charm could be vanished. Many users get puzzled while turning off the PC from charm!
- Windows Icons could be changed a lot as you can see in the image.
- New Windows could be responsive to device types and screen sizes. It maybe capable of adapting itself with tablets, mobiles and desktop.
- Return of Start Menu with different look.
- Current start menu might take the form of mini start menu.
- More Metro Apps with reduced OS size
- Better support for high resolution screens
- Improved Power Management
These expected changes are just based on rumors. The facts will be revealed after the release of Windows 9 Preview. :)
What about the Final Version?
Maybe the final version of Windows 9 will be released within April 2015. And Microsoft is planning to provide Windows 9 for those users who will stop using Windows XP, Vista or 7 and upgrade this to Windows 9!
I cant wait for the New OS. :)

In my last post, Ive discussed about how to get back Photo Viewer in Windows 10. And in this post, I would like to talk about how to get most out of new Windows Photos App. Final version of Windows 10 is still new to the users. And Im pretty sure most of users havent tried the editing features of Photos.
As a Photo viewer, the performance of Windows Photos is really poor. There are some problems remain with transparent PNG images. And it also have some navigation problems. But you can use this tool for editing images. As a image editor, Photos is not bad at all !! J
Editing Features at a Glance . . .

Easy to use . . .
This app is not a difficult one to operate. A person with basic photo editing knowledge should be fine with this tool. Let me tell something -
- Right click on an image and open it with Photos
- In the toolbar, hit on the Pencil icon to access the editing tools
- Use Basic Fixes to enhance your photo, fix red eye, crop the image etc. You can use retouch to make little correction.
- Filters offers automatic filtering to your image.
- Light enables you control brightness, contrast etc.
- Color helps you change your environmental look through modifying temperature and saturation.
- With the help of effects, you can highlight a portion of your image.
After modifying the image, you can compare it with the original! Compare button will be available at tools menu. Or you can press Ctrl + /. Press Ctril ++ or Ctrl + - to increase and decrease the image size.
After making the necessary corrections, you can save the photo using Save as button.
